Admission and Portfolio Requirements
Portfolio Requirements:
The Commercial Art Program requires a Portfolio Review and Instructor Evaluation/Interview.
Your portfolio must include:

4 observational drawings (still life) in pencil.

3 anatomy drawings in pencil.

2 text/calligraphy designs.

If you'd like, You may also include any other additional work you have created, in any any medium. (Painting, drawing, digital etc.)
Observational -Still Life-
Observational Art is something you draw from real real life! What you are actually 'observing' or looking at!
Try setting up a few objects at home, or draw what you see from where you're sitting!
Anatomy
Anatomy drawings are fun and there are many different ways to approach this!
You could focus on one specific part of the body, like eyes, or a hand. You could also draw a portrait of a face, or a full figure!
Typography
-Calligraphy-
The Art of Hand lettering!
Caliigraphy, to Grafitti, or anything in Between!
This may be done in pencil, ink, marker, etc.
Use your imagination!
